Foot Fire Presents Pure Sweat “Game Ready” Skills Clinic Recap

Ahead of the 2018/19 Basketball England National Basketball League season we teamed up with former Pure Sweat coach Gennaro Augenti, now head of GA Performance Basketball, to present a “Game Ready” Skills Clinic at Regal Basketball.

The clinic was delivered for 5 hours focusing on; advanced passing, 1v1 isolation moves, creating separation, game like decision making, player signature moves breakdowns and also an hour film study. Check out the video recap put together by Basketball Breaks.

OnCourtOffCourt Episode 58: Regal Basketball & NBA London Games

In this episode, we had the chance to link up with Jason Henley, the Community Manager for Black Prince Trust, the home of Regal Basketball. This is a local spot for us and many, many others in the UK to come and play basketball as there are two indoor courts. Beyond that, it is a hub for the community of Lambeth and beyond as there are a variety of activities available from boxing to football, to name a few.

We were also joined by Anthony Ghattz a.k.a Mr. Foot Fire as Foot Fire is a partner of Regal Basketball and so we talked about the start of Regal Basketball, the partnerships that have been formed and the plans for things going forward. We also talked about the NBA London game, sharing some thoughts on how the UK game (i.e. the BBL) could benefit from the NBA London game and ways of increasing the support of UK basketball.

Pure Sweat Game Ready Skills Clinic

With the NBL Season tipping off Saturday 15th September, Coach G from Pure Sweat presents the “Game Ready” Skills Clinic hosted by Regal Basketball.

We first met Coach G when Drew Hanlen hosted his first ever skill clinic in London on Nov 26th and more recently we invited a few members of the #OFFFam (Official Foot Fire Fam) to our skills session with Coach G. Check out highlights below.

Foot Fire Friends & Family Summer Scrimmages 2018

We’re pleased to announce the Foot Fire Friends & Family Summer Scrimmages tip off on Friday 27th July and will run every Friday throughout the summer until the 27th August between 8-10pm. In association with Regal Basket we are able to provide FREE scrimmages as part of “Regal Summer.”

“During summer 2018 Regal Basketball is working in partnership with Dunk Elite, Footfire, Ball is London, London Basketball Association and Basketball Elite to delivery over 180 hours of FREE basketball provision to the London basketball community from The Regal and Jordan courts here at the Black Prince Trust. The “A Regal Summer” will offer ballers a range of different opportunities to practice, pickup games and enhance their skills leading into the 2018/19 season.”

Thanks to Regal Basketball we are able to provide open sessions on Sunday mornings 9-11am where the team has been able to provide training alongside training ourselves.
