Nike “Be True” 2019 Collection Sale
Since 2012 Nike has supported the LGBQT community by releasing a “Be True” collection and this year, a striped rainbow pattern will replace both NIKE and Just Do It phrasing from the logo.
Recognising the universally known symbol, the Swoosh 2019 collection features the rainbow flag created by political activist and designer Gilbert Baker. The collection features iteration of the Air Max 720, Air Max 90, Tailwind, Zoom Pegasus 35 Turbo, and Benassi slides along with various pieces of apparel. As a nod to Baker’s handmade flag, each piece features embroidery details giving each silhouette a hand crafted look.
