Concepts x Converse “Southern Flame” Collection – Now Available
Converse team up with Boston Based innovative retailer Concepts to celebrate the state’s history in hoops and honour its future with the “Southern Flame” Collection.
Drawing inspiration from the two peach baskets that formed Naismith’s early basketball goals, the collaborative project covers the iconic Chuck 70 and the All Star BB Evo, nodding to Converse’s deep roots in the sport and the brand’s recent return to performance basketball. The Chuck 70 features a Orange & Red gradient upper constructed of platinum-suede to mimic the fuzzy surface of the fruit. As for the All Star BB Evo Mid, the upper arrives in a mix of Shadow Lime and Green Oasis in reference to unripe Peaches. A flocked Star Chevron logo appears on each lateral side and a a Concepts-branded peach blossom print can be found on the sockliner and translucent outsole.
