Having tweeted the potential release of the Nike Kyrie 5 “Pineapple House” in early September the final instalment of the Spongebob Squarepants x Nike Kyrie 5 collection has officall been announced.

This Nike Kyrie 5 collaboration draws inspiration from Spongebob himself home, with the upper dressed in tones of orange featuring a criss-crossed pattern mimicking the graphics found on pineapple house along with a green lace shroud representing the leaves bearing Nickelodeon Branding. The Swoosh is made to mimic the windows of the home arriving in shades of blue as if you were looking out into the ocean. A speckled midsole as a nod to sand, embroidered nautical wheel on the heel and Spongebob graphics on the insole complete this Kyrie 5 iteration.

Sneaker Room x Nike Kyrie 5 “I Love You Mom” – First Look

Here we have two people from New Jersey coming together to pay homage to their late mothers with the Sneaker Room x Nike Kyrie 5 “I Love You Mom”.

Unfortunately, both shop owner Suraj Kaufman and Kyrie Irving lost their mothers to breast cancer and in 2017 Suraj paid homage by designing a mom inspired Nike Kyrie 3, which was sold in limited quantities raising money for family and women shelters.

Sneaker Room x Nike Kyrie 3 “Mom”

Fast forward to 2019 and here we have our first look at Sneaker Rooms mom inspired Nike Kyrie 5. The white textile upper serves as the perfect canvas for the red and gold embroidered hearts featuring thorough out the whole shoe, which is accented by black squiggly lines which appear to be their mothers signatures. The stand out feature of this Kyrie 5 iteration arrives on the heels of the shoe where and embroidered heart and rose appear on the left and right respectively. In place of Kyries Branding is the word “MOM” featured on the tongue completing this heart felt design.
